What happens if a home inspector misses something?
We make every effort to find pertinent defects during our comprehensive home inspections.
When working with sellers, we want to locate as many important defects as possible so the items may be repaired before a buyer's inspector locates. As a real estate agent, you know the fewer defects located during a buyer's inspection often means less negotiations during the contract process.
When working with buyers, we want to locate as many pertinent defects as possible so the buyer doesn't move into their property and feel they have purchased a lemon. When this happens, the buyer begins looking for someone to remedy their issue whether it is the home inspector, the real estate company or the previous seller. This is why Red Rocks Certified Home Inspection LLC participates in InterNachi's® Buy Back Guarantee.
If Red Rocks Certified Property Inspection LLC misses anything, InterNachi's Buy Back Guarantee will purchase the home back.
The “fine print”:
It's valid for home inspections performed for home buyers and home sellers by participating InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspectors® only. Red Rocks Certified Property Inspection LLC DOES participate in the buyback program.
The home must be listed for sale with a licensed real estate agent.
The Guarantee excludes homes with material defects not present at the time of the inspection, or not required to be inspected, per InterNACHI's Residential Standards of Practice.
The Guarantee will be honored for 90 days after closing.
InterNACHI® will pay the buyer or seller whatever price paid for the home.

The limited warranty covers your client's AC and furnace, water heater, dishwasher, range, water & sewer, mold, foundation, framework and roof.
